We heard Tizeti expanded across Nigeria and launched in Cote d'Ivoire, so we sat down with them to learn of this launch in the span of 3 minutes. In this conversation, they share why they expanded and their plans for the future.
How would you describe Tizeti ?
Tizeti is a fast-growing Wireless Internet service provider in Lagos, Nigeria, delivering high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi Internet access to residential and business customers using wide-area Wi-Fi. Its services are available nationwide. It is also expanding rapidly to other African countries, with successful launches in Accra and Tema, Ghana, and Abidjan, and most recently Cote d’Ivoire.
Why has Tizeti chosen to expand into Côte d'Ivoire now?
The telecommunications industry in Cote d'Ivoire is growing rapidly, driven by the increasing demand for internet services, which is motivated by its growing population of about 26m people, expanding economy, and increased submarine cable operators. Internet subscribers in Cote d'Ivoire has increased significantly in recent years, with a compound annual growth rate of 43% between 2016 and 2020, and expected to reach 15.2 million by 2026, but this is largely mobile, while fixed internet and broadband sectors remain underdeveloped.
Increased subsea cable operators, proactive regulation, growing economy and youthful population creates significant opportunity for growth for internet service providers like Tizeti.
What services will Tizeti offer in Côte d'Ivoire?
We have started with our internet solutions across enterprises, residents and communities and will expand as opportunities come up. we are looking forward to fully integrating ourselves into Cote dÍvoire.
What is the rollout plan and how can residents and businesses in Côte d'Ivoire learn more about Tizeti's services?
We are live in Cote d' Ívoire already, and are available via https://civwifi.com/
What does the future of Tizeti look like?
We plan to deepen our roots in our current countries: Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire while expanding into new countries, such as Togo, Liberia and others. Our plan is to cover all of Africa.
